TAP is located in the space that previously housed the Wolfgang Puck Steak restaurant, so extensive renovations were in order. The decor includes pressed tin ceilings, a concrete bar atop aged wood locker faces complete with locks and tags, wine barrel tables, along vintage Detroit and Michigan sports memorabilia and photographs from the historic Lindell AC.
restaurant and bar feature a large bar area, the main dining room seating 292, and a private dining room for up to 100. TAP at MGM Grand Detroit is a new old sports pub according to hotel management.
